A tremendous year for PTS Brotherhood!

Have we got a year for YOU! The PTS Brotherhood leadership has been busy, busy, busy planning events for 2007-2008, and the list is LONG.

Here's what we've been planning, and it's time for you to get involved! Put these events on your calendar for attending, and also talk to us about participating behind the scenes.

We could use your help in planning these events, some of which are purely social for our Brotherhood members, and others of which are designed to serve the entire Peninsula Temple Sholom Community.

Aug. 8: SF Giants Jewish Heritage Night
Sep. 3: Family picnic and softball
Sep. 9: Family BBQ and swim party at the PJCC
Sep. 23: Annual Sukkah building
Sep. 26: Annual Sukkah service and dinner
Oct. 18: Pizza & pool joint event with Beth El & Peninsula Sinai Brotherhoods
Oct. 28: Family dinner and bingo
Nov. 11: Chanukah toy drive begins
Nov. 12: Fall football poker tournament
Dec. 7: Annual latke fry and dreidel spin with Sholom Women
Dec. 16: Family bowling

2008

Mar. 16: Annual Purim carnival
Mar. 23: March Madness poker tournament
Apr. 13: Parent/child pitch and putt tournament
May 11: Mother’s Day flower sale
May 18: End of school year BBQ

Also:

First Wednesdays: Monthly board meetings
Sunday mornings: Pirket Avot study w/ bagels & coffee

The more you put into Brotherhood, the more you get out of it. So, please mark these dates, come to a meeting (our next planning meeting is Wed., Aug. 1), or talk to a Brotherhood board member next time you're at Friday night or Saturday morning services!
