Sept. 21 golf tournament cancelled

The Brotherhood Golf Tournament scheduled for next Sunday, September 21, has been postponed. We are planning to reschedule the tournament for the spring.

Tri-congregational pool & pizza, Oct. 16

Please join PTS Brotherhood for a tri-congregational pool and pizza party at B Street Billiards, San Mateo. The fun starts at 6:30 PM on Thursday, Oct. 16.

The three participating congregations are Peninsula Temple Sholom, Peninsula Temple Beth El and Peninsula Sinai Congregation. We'll have plain cheese pizza for those who prefer not to have toppings.

The cost to participate is $15, which covers hall rental and the pizza. B Street Billiards has a no-host bar with beer and soft drinks. If you're coming, please let us know by writing to brotherhood@sholom.org.

Falafel Sundays: Don't forget to preorder!

PTS Brotherhood is proud to introduce Falafel Sundays!

On the last Sunday of September, October and November we will sell falafel for pickup at Religious School!

Each order includes 1 doz. falafel, pita and hummus. You must preorder! The cost is $12/month or $30 for all 3 months. Orders will be ready for pickup from 11:00 – 11:15 (between the first and second sessions).

The three Falafel Sundays are:

• September 28
• October 26
• November 23
